The GC01W WiFi 2-in-1 carbon monoxide and gas detector uses an electrochemical sensor to monitor CO and CH₄. Gas diffusion generates a current proportional to concentration, triggering the alarm. It is certified by TUV as an ordinary alarm.

The GC01W WIFI 2 in 1 Carbon Monoxide And Gas Detector monitors Carbon Monoxide and CH4 by using an electrochemical sensor. Ambient air (containing carbon monoxide) slowly diffuses into the CO sensor through vents on the alarm casing. This generates an electric current: the reaction produces a tiny flow of electrons (current). The higher the concentration of carbon monoxide, the more molecules participate in the reaction, and the stronger the current produced. It is classified as an ordinary Alarm by TUV.
