Opera House Project
Introductions
This project installs a comprehensive fire safety early warning system for an opera house in Sydney. There are 498 seats in the auditorium, a spacious lobby, and main access corridors. As a public cultural facility in Sydney, we welcome audiences of all ages to the opera house. The public spaces and screening rooms are designed for comfort without compromising user experience. There is a typical high-risk commercial service establishment for its diverse functional spaces and high volume of people.
Referring to the building’s functional layout and operational requirements and product types and technical characteristics, the project is comprehensively designed and planned the fire detection and alarm system with AS 3786 / AS 1670.1 fire safety regulation for this opera house. The system uses 41pcs alarms (smoke alarms, heat alarms, CO alarms) and controllers. It enables early fire warnings, lower false alarms, timely evacuation, easy maintenance and emergency response in the initial fire or carbon monoxide leak stage and simultaneously gives the information to opera house management and audiences.
