The SM17W WiFi photoelectric smoke alarm uses an infrared sensing chamber to detect smoke particles. When smoke scatters infrared light, the receiver signal changes, triggering a loud, durable alarm. It is certified by TUV as an ordinary smoke alarm.

The SM11HW WIFI Photoelectric Smoke Alarm is loud voice and more durable alarms, which monitors smoke by using a chamber. The chamber utilizes infrared emission and reception technology. When there is no smoke in the environment, the receiver cannot receive infrared light; when there is smoke, smoke particles scatter infrared light, altering the receiver’s signal and triggering the alarm. It is classified as an ordinary Alarm by TUV.
